PAYING BY CREDIT CARD
The Taste #5 Umami website is a secure website, hosted by Squarespace ecommerce platform. You can click on the HTTPS logo in the navigation bar to verify the SSL certificate. We rely on the highly regarded encryption software of our credit card terminal provider, Stripe, to ensure that payments are accepted in a secure manner. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can also pay using PayPal from our home page.
TASTE #5 UMAMI DELIVERY CHARGES FOR PRODUCTS
US deliveries are shipped with USPS on a 1-3 days service from Oregon. We charge US $5 for orders up to 1lb weight, and $12 for any order over 1lb weight. Orders are dispatched within 2 working days from receipt of the order, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
IMPORT AND SALES TAX
Taste #5 Umami applies the appropriate US federal and state taxes to any order originating in the US. We are unable to estimate the taxes, duties, or customs fees that may be particular to the international destinations to which we are able to ship. Because of this, Taste #5 Umami does not include these charges in our shipping costs, and customers may receive subsequent invoices from USPS or your country’s customs. Please note that we are not responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or other customs fees, which may apply.
TASTE #5 UMAMI QUALITY GUARANTEE
We guarantee that any order picked, packed and shipped from our warehouse is in good condition upon leaving the facility. We cannot guarantee the quality of the foodstuffs in case of exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures or low temperatures. We recommend that Taste #5 Umami products are stored and kept at room temperatures always. Products should be refrigerated after opening, and consumed within 30 days after opening. Products should be consumed before the ‘best before’ date printed on the product packaging.
If a package has never been received we must be notified within three months of the package being sent out in order for your order to be refunded or a replacement package sent. We are not longer able to track the package after this time and therefore cannot confirm that the package is missing.
OUR RETURNS POLICY
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it, in the same state in which you received it, for a refund or replacement within 10 days of the delivery date. Delivery and handling charges are non-refundable. We will refund the cost of the item within 30 days of receiving the returned, undamaged goods. You can cancel your order at any time before delivery by emailing or calling us within the dispatch times stated above.If you are not happy with the service you have received we wouldd like to fix things as soon as possible.
